Job Description
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Medical Technology program or equivalent science required
- 2 years hospital experience or Medical Laboratory experience highly preferred
License and Certification:
- MLS Medical Laboratory Scientist Certified by ASCP AMT HEW HHS or NCA required upon hire OR
- MT (ASCP) Medical Technologist required upon hire OR
- MT Medical Technologist required upon hire
Skills
- Knowledge of the principles methods materials equipment and techniques of medical technology
- Ability to effectively prioritize and problem resolution
- Demonstrates the ability to analyze situations to make operational decision to meet clinical demands
- Demonstrates customer-focused service skills
- Demonstrates verbal and written communication adequately to facilitate training of laboratory and non-laboratory staff to communicate specimen collection effective handle requirements and provide assistance and support to laboratory and other health care staff
- Demonstrates effective interpersonal and organizational skills
- Basic computer knowledge

Work Hours: Day shift; Full-time Monday through Friday; 7:00 AM 4:00 PM
