Warehouse & Fleet Manager
We are seeking a proactive results-driven and innovative Warehouse & Fleet Manager to build and lead the management of our vehicles trailers and warehouse operations. This is a unique opportunity for a self-starter to build these programs from the ground up establishing new systems and processes that will drive long-term success. Key Responsibilities
Program Leadership: This role requires an innovative self-starter to build out new systems and programs from scratch. You will be responsible for creating and implementing all fleet and warehouse management protocols setting the foundation for future growth.
Fleet Management: Oversee daily operations of company vehicles and trailers. You will be responsible for building the fleet program from the ground up establishing protocols for maintenance safety compliance and scheduling. Your goal is to proactively minimize downtime and operational costs within our construction environment.
Material Ordering & Inventory Management: Strategically plan and coordinate procurement to maintain optimal inventory levels including ordering roof materials. You will be responsible for developing and implementing the warehouse program reducing waste and ensuring timely delivery of construction supplies that align with project schedules.
Vehicle & Equipment Maintenance: Establish and oversee a preventative maintenance program to keep construction vehicles and trailers in top condition promoting safety and longevity.
Team Leadership: Lead mentor and motivate warehouse and fleet staff fostering a culture of accountability transparency and continuous improvement.
Compliance & Safety: Guarantee all fleet operations adhere to company policies local regulations and safety standards with a focus on construction site safety.
Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate records related to vehicle maintenance inspections inventory levels and operational performance tailored to construction project requirements.
Proactivity & Problem Solving: Anticipate potential operational issues in a dynamic construction environment and implement strategic solutions proactively to minimize disruptions. This requires a strategic and innovative mindset to overcome challenges with new solutions.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in fleet and warehouse management preferably within the construction industry.
- Demonstrated ability to be an innovative self-starter who can build and implement new programs and processes from scratch.
- Strong organizational leadership and team-building skills.
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance scheduling safety regulations materials procurement and roof material ordering specific to construction sites.
- Ability to analyze operational data and generate comprehensive reports.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving skills with a proactive and strategic mindset.
- Ability to think forward anticipate challenges and implement innovative solutions.
