Restoration Technician - Des Moines
Job Overview: Our client is seeking to add a NEW Restoration Tech to their Des Moines team.
This is a Direct Hire
Load and unload work vehicles with necessary equipment tools and supplies for each project.
Maintain a clean and organized vehicle jobsite and work area.
Set up staging areas and prepare rooms or spaces for construction or restoration work.
Follow assigned work processes with accuracy and attention to detail.
Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and risk management practices.
Communicate effectively with the crew chief and team members to ensure efficient workflow.
Complete end-of-day tasks including cleanup equipment breakdown and site organization.
Help keep the warehouse office and grounds clean and organized.
Learn and grow your knowledge of tools cleaning products safety procedures and job techniques.
Perform other tasks as needed to support the team and meet project deadlines.
Strong work ethic and a commitment to delivering quality work.
Clear and professional communication skills.
Prior experience in construction restoration or cleaning is preferred.
High school diploma or GED required.
IICRC certifications and Xactimate experience are a plus.
2 years of estimating or insurance adjusting experience preferred.
Ability to regularly lift 50 lbs. and up to 100 lbs. with assistance.
Physically capable of climbing ladders working at heights and entering confined spaces like crawlspaces or attics.
Comfortable with tasks that include repetitive lifting pushing pulling and carrying.
Willingness to work in environments with fumes noise dust heat and strong odors; respirator use may be required.
Flexible availability including occasional nights weekends and on-call shifts.
Professional appearance and a positive team-oriented attitude.
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
