Responsibilities:
Design implement and manage scalable reliable and secure AWS environments.
Automate deployment monitoring and maintenance tasks using infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform CloudFormation or similar.
Collaborate with software development teams to ensure best practices and optimal deployment strategies are employed.
Monitor system performance troubleshoot issues and optimize AWS services and resources.
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins GitLab CI/CD or AWS CodePipeline.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and deliver new features and enhancements.
Ensure security best practices and compliance requirements are followed within AWS environments.
Develop and maintain documentation of architecture processes and procedures.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field or equivalent experience.
3-8 years of experience in a DevOps role with significant exposure to AWS services or similar Azure services
Expertise in AWS services such as EC2 S3 RDS Lambda VPC IAM CloudWatch etc. or parallel Azure services
Strong experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
Proven experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with scripting languages such as Python Bash or similar.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or equivalent AWS certifications.
Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible Puppet or Chef.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile environments.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus Grafana ELK Stack or CloudWatch Logs.
