Job Description
We have a position available for a full-time Behavioral Interventionist at East Valley Academy to provide support to a student in their EVA classroom setting. East Valley Academy school program is a vital resource for students who struggle to thrive in a traditional public school setting. It is a small independent school with roughly 15 employees and a maximum of 24 students and small class sizes of 6 or fewer. We combine curriculum-based instruction with adventure-based learning to maximize student engagement and strive to help our students achieve their true potential and we support both their educational and mental health primary functions are: provide support and related activities (case consultation attend IEP meetings treatment team meetings) to students in the school setting with a focus towards helping students to meet their educational goals. modeling of appropriate problem-solving skills social skills life skills and a healthy lifestyle while providing opportunities to enhance vocational skills and participate in physical education programs. provide de-escalation and behavioral management and support as offer a comprehensive benefits package including health dental and vision insurance a matching 403b retirement plan and tuition reimbursement.
