The Perioperative Specialty RN Education supports the comprehensive educational needs of the Perioperative Division. This role facilitates orientation and onboarding for 3060 new nurses and surgical technologists annually coordinates student clinical rotations and contributes to resident and fellow education. The RN also plays a key role in developing and delivering ongoing education for approximately 300 staff including simulation training preceptor development quarterly nursing grand rounds and other learning initiatives to advance clinical practice and support staff development across the perioperative setting.

- Active Maryland or Compact RN license is required
- BLS CPR certification required
- OR RN experience required CNOR certification preferred
