Job Description
Upward Bound Math-Science Assistant Director-The UBMS program is seeking a passionate and organized individual to manage a caseload of high school students support their academic career and personal success.
In this role you will:
- Manage a caseload of students providing direct advising and guidance.
- Collaborate closely with school personnel to support student success.
- Plan and lead student recruitment efforts school visits academic workshops and summer programming.
- Supervise the summer residential program and residential staff.
- Provide daily leadership to UBMS program staff including training and performance evaluation of tutors mentors and teachers.
Ideal candidates are committed to educational equity have strong leadership and communication skills and enjoy working with first-generation college bound youth.
- Bachelors degree required; Masters degree in education social work or related field preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in TRIO or a related college access/success program.
