Job Description
Location: Rosebud SD 57570
Duration: 13-week contract
Shift: 07:00 AM - 05:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week
Weekly Pay Rate: $2400 - $2560; Depending on experience (negotiable)
- Perform radiologic imaging procedures including X-rays following established protocols and safety guidelines.
- Prepare patients for imaging by explaining procedures and positioning them appropriately.
- Operate radiologic equipment efficiently and safely.
- Review images for technical quality and clarity before submitting for physician interpretation.
- Maintain patient records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA and organizational standards.
- Adhere to radiation safety practices to protect patients staff and self.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
- Maintain equipment and report any malfunctions or safety concerns promptly.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
- At least 1 year of experience in the specialty area of radiology/X-ray.
- Strong knowledge of radiologic techniques safety regulations and patient care standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Any other applicable specialty certifications
