We are currently hiring reliable and passionate individuals to fill both short-term and long-term substitute teaching positions in elementary middle and high schools. Whether youre a licensed teacher a recent graduate or exploring a second career in education - we have a classroom for you!
Position Highlights:
Grade Levels: K-12 (based on your preference & experience)
Locations: Multiple districts across Central Iowa
Type: Short-term daily assignments & long-term placements
Schedule: Flexible - choose when and where you work
Pay: Competitive daily rates (varies by district & assignment length)
Responsibilities:
Follow lesson plans provided by the regular classroom teacher
Maintain classroom order and student engagement
Provide instruction supervision and support for students
Communicate effectively with school staff and administrators
Ensure a safe and respectful learning environment
Requirements:
Must meet the State of Iowas requirements for Substitute Authorization or hold a valid Iowa teaching license
High school diploma (minimum); bachelors degree preferred for long-term positions
Ability to manage a classroom and follow district policies
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Dependable professional and enthusiastic about working with youth
