Schedule: 7 on/7 off Swing Shift 10:30am-9pm

A Clinical Lab Scientist performs diagnostic testing on patient samples to aid physicians in the diagnosis and/or monitoring of various disease states.
How youll contribute
AClinical Laboratory Scientist who excels in this role:
Analyzes test results for accuracy acceptability and critical limits and reports/documents results per organizational standards.
Performs automated tests using computerized instruments & automated equipment.
Runs tests and analyze the results to be reported to the patient physician or registered nurse.
Performs Quality
Assurance work to ensure accuracy of equipment. Willing and able to demonstrate appropriate core competencies annually or as requested.
Performs and determines accuracy of technical lab procedures.
Maintains records of procedures performed the patient results and the quality control required for all procedures performed.
Maintains accurate and complete records of all quality control tests completed.
Reads and understands all procedure manuals on an annual basis.

Bachelors degree in Medical Technology or Clinical Lab Services- Preferred
Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Licenses: ASCP certification or eligibility required.
