Join Our Team at the Marie Curie Glasgow Hospice
Are you passionate about making a difference in your community We are looking for compassionate and reliableVolunteer Driversto join our dedicated hospice team in Glasgow. As a Volunteer Patient Driver youll play a vital role in helping patients access the care they need by providing safe and supportive transport to and from the hospice.

What Youll Do:
- Collect patients from their homes at a prearranged time and bring them to the hospice.
- Return patients home after day services outpatient appointments or discharge from the ward.
- Ensure patients gain safe entry to their homes.
- Refer any medical social or personal concerns expressed by patients to hospice staff.
- Assist with other related tasks when needed.
What Youll Need:
- Afull UK driving licenceand access to your own vehicle.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- The ability to deal sensitively with patients and visitors.
- Reliability responsibility and a caring nature.
- A good knowledge of thelocal area.
- An understanding ofconfidentialityand the needs of those affected by end-of-life care.
