Your Role: As a Pathfinder Operator youll play a key role in cutting materials with precision and speed. Your expertise will help ensure consistent high-quality parts for our sewing and assembly departments.
What Youll Do
- Operate the Automated Fabric Cutting Pathfinder ensuring safe accurate and efficient cutting of materials
- Load fabric rolls onto the cutting table and align materials for optimal layout and minimal waste
- Review cutting files and programs based on production schedules and part requirements
- Monitor the machine during operation and perform regular quality checks on cut pieces
- Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting of the cutter (e.g. blade checks calibration alignment)
- Organize and label cut parts for delivery to the sewing or upholstery teams
- Maintain a clean organized cutting area and follow safety protocols
What Were Looking For
- Experience operating automated or CNC cutting equipment preferred (Pathfinder experience is a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret patterns or digital cut files
- Basic mechanical skills and comfort with machine interface screens
- Ability to lift and handle large fabric rolls (up to 50 lbs)
- Reliable self-motivated and able to work independently or with a team
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training a plus
