Position Title: Assistant Beverage Manager
Job Group: Operations
Reports to: Beverage Manager General Manager
Status: Full-Time Exempt

The Assistant Beverage Manager supports the Beverage Manager in overseeing the day-to-day beverage operations across bars lounges concession stands and other service outlets. This role helps ensure product availability service quality cost control compliance and exceptional guest experience.
Working closely with operations catering and banquets teams the Assistant Beverage Manager helps implement processes related to inventory purchasing staff support and service standards. The position plays a key role in assisting with staff supervision service execution product knowledge development and maintaining standards aligned with Sodexo Live!s financial and customer satisfaction goals.
Supporting Actions:
Assist with implementing operational plans action steps and service standards.
Monitor daily beverage activities and support the execution of special events.
Help maintain proper inventory levels and participate in monthly and spot-check counts.
Assist with purchasing processes by sourcing approved vendors under direction.
Help track sales promotions and suggest product placements based on customer trends.
End Results: Beverage operations are smooth efficient and aligned with revenue and guest satisfaction goals.

Conduct outlet inspections for cleanliness stock levels and setup compliance.
Monitor compliance with health safety and responsible alcohol service policies.
Assist with implementation of sanitation and safety procedures.

End Results: Clean compliant and well-organized beverage service areas; enhanced customer satisfaction.

Assigned to a single facility with flexibility to rotate through various beverage outlets and stations. Moderate autonomy is provided in support of daily operations with oversight and direction from the Beverage Manager.
Associates or Bachelors degree preferred; equivalent work experience accepted
23 years of experience in food & beverage operations preferably in a support or supervisory capacity
Working knowledge of beverage service inventory control and cost management
Ability to work flexible hours including nights weekends and holidays
Strong communication problem-solving and organizational skills
Previous experience in high-volume hospitality or event-based environment
Understanding of POS and inventory systems
Training in responsible alcohol service
Basic knowledge of catering and event operations
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs carry supplies up to 40 feet
Frequent walking standing and movement in beverage outlets
Exposure to hot and cold environments as well as noise and fast-paced settings
Ability to follow oral/written instructions and read event orders/diagrams
