Job Description

Overview

JOB SUMMARY:

Performs functions to support the retail distribution operation in the daily distribution of merchandise to the retail and outlet stores including maintaining and distributing files in conjunction with store supplies preparing retail/outlet store orders material handling-which may sometimes require powered industrial truck usage mark-down and value add and cross-train into other departments within the DC and performs non-routine tasks as needed while adhering to J. Jill safety productivity and quality standards.

Qualifications

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Partners with supervisor manager Quincy colleagues and external vendors to coordinate the receipt and staging of store supply orders into Tilton.
  • Processes weekly supply orders to existing stores the preparation of new store supply deliveries.
  • Maintains and distributes inventory records in an accurate and timely manner. Performs and documents inventory cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Reviews exception units being generated from all areas within the retail distribution department i.e. retail merchandise prep and pack areas ticketing value add and reserves. Performs inventory transactions to correct exception units. Documents exception units processed and provides details of inventory adjustments completed.
  • Prepares merchandise for shipment to retail and outlet stores by accurately verifying SKU information counting and transferring merchandise into totes / cartons in the merchandise prep and pack operations.
  • Supports other retails operations as needed including assisting store merchandise prep and pack operations preparing merchandise for new store deliveries and processing mark downs.
