JOB SUMMARY
The Surgical Charge Capture Specialist is responsible for ensuring the accuracy completeness and timeliness of all surgical-related charges including those from the Operating Room Same Day Surgery and Anesthesia services. This role supports the integrity of the hospitals revenue cycle by reviewing clinical documentation validating charge entries reconciling case data and identifying potential missed or incorrect charges. The Specialist acts as a liaison between perioperative staff coding billing and supply chain to ensure compliance with billing regulations and internal financial standards.JOB DETAILS AND REQUIREMENTS
Type: Full Time (80 hours per 2 week pay period with benefits)
Typical Hours: Day Shift 8 hours/shift
Education:
Associates degree in healthcare administration business nursing or related field- required
Licenses/Certifications:
N/A
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in surgical services billing coding or revenue cycle- required
