Hourly Rate: $68/hour

Position Overview:
Join our team as an RN Critical Care specializing in Adult PACU at a premier Acute Care/Academic Medical Center in Syracuse. This role demands expertise in post-anesthesia care for adult patients within a dynamic critical care environment.

- 6 x 12-hour shifts every 2 weeks (11:00 am -11:30 pm & 7:00 pm - 7:30 am)
- Every 3rd weekend is required
- No on-call

Qualifications:
- Education: Associates or Bachelors Degree in Nursing
- Licensure: Active New York State RN License
- Certification:BLS certification (must be current or willing to recertify)
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in an acute care facility (within the past 2 years)
- PACU experience is required
- Previous critical care experience is essential
- Technical Skills:EPIC EMR proficiency (strongly preferred)
- Soft Skills: Adaptability critical thinking and teamwork in fast-paced settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized post-anesthesia care for adult critical care patients.
- Monitor and manage patient recovery complications and pain control.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Utilize EPIC EMR for accurate documentation and patient management.
