Engineering Technician 1st Shift
Location: Plano TX
Pay: $18.00/hr
Schedule: MondayFriday 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM
TMD Staffing is hiring an Engineering Technician for a top client in Plano TX. This is a hands-on technical role supporting electronic product assembly testing and troubleshooting. Ideal for someone with an electronics background quality control experience and strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and repair rejected or non-working electronic devices
Inspect PCBAs (Printed Circuit Board Assemblies) and cables for accuracy and quality
Assemble test and rework electronic components
Flash and update firmware using command line instructions
Maintain and perform basic repairs on production tools and jigs
What Were Looking For:
2 years of experience in Quality Control or Electronic Assembly
Soldering and component inspection experience is a plus
Basic understanding of command line interfaces
Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
Strong work ethic with excellent attendance
Must pass a background check and drug screen
Resume and client interview required
