Job Description
The Urban Ecology Center is excited to welcome UWM student interns over the course of the next school year. We have five paid positions available each offering approximately 10 hours of work per week:
Community Programs Facilitator
Co-lead/facilitate outdoor education programming on Saturdays and during school breaks including hiking paddling biking and fishing.
Green Career Pathways Program Associate
Serve as a program assistant for the UECs career development program. You will coach and mentor high school Outdoor Leaders in environmental career exploration and skill development.
Volunteer Program Associate
Lead volunteer orientations and work alongside volunteer groups - a great opportunity for folks interested in non-profit or community-based work.
Community Engagement and Outreach Associate
Represent the UEC at community events and in our branches! Youll know all the great programs and events happening at the Urban Ecology Center and get to tell the broader Milwaukee community how to get involved.
Marketing & Communications Associate
Support our social media strategy and utilize your photography skills to capture our events.
