About The Role
TheSeasons for Life Coordinatorplays a vital role in supporting school communities across the state through the delivery ofSeasons for Growtheducation programs. This position leads the implementation of a national suicide prevention and postvention initiative in QLD and parts of NSW focusing on young people impacted by suicide and other significant losses.
Working within theMacKillop Seasonsteam the coordinator partners with schools education leaders and community organisations to provide tailored training resources and support. The role involves developing school-specific coaching and implementation plans delivering professional learning to educators and expanding the reach of evidence-based grief and loss programs to strengthen wellbeing and resilience in educational settings.
About You
You are a passionate and experienced professional with a background in education health or a related discipline. You bring specialist knowledge in suicide prevention and postvention and have a deep understanding of grief and loss. Youre a confident communicator and relationship builder able to work independently while contributing to a national team. You thrive in dynamic environments are highly organised and are committed to making a difference in the lives of young people and their communities.
This is a Non ongoing Part Time (0.6 FTE) opportunity based in Gold Coast or Brisbane with some travel required and reports to the Seasons for Life National Lead. This position is until June 2027.
