Overview
Were looking for a hands-on people-focused Desktop Support Manager to lead our support team and ensure Quadax employees have the tools and technology they need to work efficiently. This role oversees desktop support operations IT asset management and hardware/software procurement. The ideal candidate is proactive organized and committed to delivering a great user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide superior workstation user experience for all Quadax employees.
- Ensure new hires have fully functioning equipment on day one.
- Lead and mentor the desktop support team.
- Ensures timely resolution of Service Now incidents assigned to the Desktop team.
- Manage IT asset inventory procurement and vendor relationships.
- Leads new project initiatives including collaboration with other IT teams that streamline/optimize current processes.
- Develops and communicates detailed technical execution plans for management review.
- Recommend and implement hardware/software upgrades and workstation refreshes with defined deliverable to ensure efficient rollout to end users.
- Support and manage Active Directory Windows domains GPOs Intune and M365.
- Identify opportunities to automate and streamline support operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or 8 years of relevant experience.
- 35 years managing a desktop support team.
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 Intune and Microsoft 365.
- Experience with IT asset management and remote support tools.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
