We are on the lookout for a hunter a junior Business Developer ready to build strong pipelines identify new leads and actively contribute to Wakams mission of delivering innovative insurance solutions across Europe.

About the Team

The Revenue office at Wakam drives growth and profitability through strategic marketing sales and partnership initiatives. We work as a team to expand our market reach maximize sales opportunities and develop valuable partnerships.

Your Mission

You thrive on identifying new opportunities converting leads into partnerships and nurturing a strong pipeline to fuel Wakams international growth. Youre also AI-savvy curious and comfortable leveraging AI tools to boost productivity personalize outreach and stay ahead in a fast-evolving market. As Business Developer you will:

  • Implement Wakams commercial development strategy in alignment with our growth objectives.
  • Prospect and generate leads across Italy Spain and other strategic markets.
  • Identify new market segments and opportunities for partnerships.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and prospects understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Product Marketing and Customer Service) to deliver seamless client experiences.
  • Support contract negotiations and participate in the development of commercial proposals.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance and KPIs suggesting corrective actions as needed.
  • Build a new client ecosystem in Italy Spain and beyond strengthening Wakams presence in key markets.

What You Bring

  • Degree (Bac5) in business management or a related field.
  • Fluency in Italian or Spanish (Mandatory) and strong English communication skills.
  • 1 years experience in insurancewith a focus on sales prospecting or commercial outreach. of new market.
  • A natural hunter mindset: youre persuasive resilient and able to build and nurture a strong lead pipeline.
  • Experience in digital environments or tech-driven industries is a plus.
  • Strong ability to develop relationships negotiate effectively and close opportunities.
  • Familiarity with sales KPIs and performance tracking tools.
