Provide website development and database management support to NGA primarily focused on maintaining and improving SharePoint environments. This role includes daily updates to application functionality site administration and collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Administer maintain develop and implement improvements to SharePoint sites and sub-sites on NGANet (COE) and SBU.
Perform SharePoint Site Collection Services including setting permissions in line with the SharePoint Security Model.
Assess and recommend improvements to the SharePoint Security Model and deliver updated versions.
Create and modify site templates develop Style Sheets and manage site collections and sub-site hierarchies.
Monitor SharePoint sizing and usage limits; develop and implement solutions to prevent threshold breaches and performance issues.
Coordinate infrastructure requests (compute storage database SharePoint Tableau) through Service for UDS contractor fulfillment.
Maintain and augment websites including daily application updates and responding to support requests.
An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED TOP SECRET Federal or DoD securityclearance TS/SCI
Bachelors Degree; FOUR (4years) of additional professional experience in lieu of Bachelors; IT Level Certifications in Lieu of Bachelors
THREE (3) years of relevant professional experience.
Advanced proficiency in Visual Basic and modern programming languages (e.g. Java JavaScript HTML Web services application servers FTP protocols NGA system architecture).
Advanced experience with geospatial applications (MAPINFO ESRI Arc suite).
Expertise with Microsoft Office programs and designing developing and implementing web applications/services using SharePoint.
Skilled in web data analysis testing/debugging and developing SharePoint site collections and sub-site hierarchies.
Experience with SharePoint and Active Directory group access controls revamping/consolidating intranet site structures and configuring SharePoint web apps (SSL claims-based authentication).
Ability to evaluate requirements and configure user SharePoint sites accordingly.
Advanced troubleshooting and documentation skills for customer support.
Experience updating master pages CSS themes navigation frameworks and developing governance documentation based on best practices.
Strong problem-solving skills for building effective technical solutions.
Active and maintained TS/SCI Federal DoD security clearance with Counterintelligence (CI) polygraph.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Logical solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
Effective time management skills.
Ability to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
