We are currently seeking a Service/Commissioning Technician Security tojoin our HBS Darwin NT team. Reporting to the Field Service Supervisor your focus will be to service customer sites with a focus on EACS CCTV and Alarm systems to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize customer site downtime by providing exceptional technical support.
Responsibilities
- Service and maintenance of Honeywell and third-party equipment (training provided).
- Day to day servicing and maintenance.
- Commissioning of pre-installed security equipment.
- Configuration of security systems hardware and software.
- Diagnose faults and repairs on security systems.
- Software load and configuration of Honeywell EBI / DVM Systems.
- Small to medium project installations including working with subcontractors.
- Financial control according to previously agreed budgets and plans.
- Development and maintenance of site-specific documentation and quality assurance information as instructed by Team Leader
Qualifications
- Experience as Security Technician or Electrician customer facing and/or similar.
- Electrical experience: - Basic knowledge of electrical diagrams and electrical switching.
- Commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Good communication - both verbal and written.
- Self-motivated and the ability to work independently without supervision.
- Anability to work under pressure.
- A strong commitment to safety and a safe working environment.
- Ability to obtain NV1.
- Valid drivers licence.
- Ability to be on call work a rotating roster when required.
