Job Description

Job Title: Machinist
Schedule: Full Time Monday through Friday 6:00AM to 2:30PM

Reports To: Production Manager
Location: 15223 Rt 87 Williamsport PA 17701

Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Machinist who shares our commitment to quality safety and continuous improvement. This role operates a variety of manual and CNC lathes mills grinders and presses to manufacture precision components. As part of our production team your focus will be on maintaining Kanban inventory levels ensuring part quality and embodying our values through daily work and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow all established policies procedures and safety protocols while actively identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Review and interpret technical drawings instructions and product samples to ensure accurate production
  • Perform precise measurements and select appropriate tooling for efficient high-quality results
  • Monitor machines and adjust settings as needed to maintain quality and productivity
  • Inspect completed parts for accuracy and compliance; document results and address any deviations
  • Maintain product inventory by managing and responding to Kanban indicators
  • Support regular and preventive maintenance of machines and equipment
  • Set up and operate manual and CNC mills and lathes according to production needs


Physical and Mental Requirements:

  • Ability to work safely and effectively in a production environment
  • Comfortable using precision measuring tools including calipers micrometers and scales
  • Fine motor coordination for repetitive and detail-oriented tasks
  • Ability to focus on close-up visual inspections during handling
  • Able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods
  • Must be able to regularly lift and move products weighing up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds


Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Prior experience in machining or mechanical assembly is preferred
  • Experience operating tools such as lathes mills drills and grinders
  • Understanding basic safety and manufacturing best
  • Completion of a vocational program or apprenticeship in machining
