Position: Physical Therapist (PT)

Shift:PRN Days

Schedule:8:00am- 5:00pm

More about our team:

Phelps Health Hospital ARU Unit located in Rolla MO. Ourteam recognizes the importance of privacy and independence for patients. Our 18 bed Unit is a very fast-paced yet fun environment with endless opportunities to learn and grow!

What were looking for:We are looking for a dynamic Physical Therapist who is passionate about helping others and is a team player!

What will you do in this role:

Put your physical therapy skills to work where theyre really needed - evaluate a patients condition develop a treatment plan and help them get better day by day. Youll also instruct the nursing staff and the patients families on follow-through programs that build on the progress theyve made

Communicate patient progress or problems to supervisor and other team members; assist with patient scheduling and post charges daily to patient records

Document patient care in accordance with regulatory licensing payer and accrediting requirements

Instruct patients family or nursing staff in follow-through programs

Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition

Handle job responsibilities in accordance with the Companys Code of Business Conduct the Corporate Compliance Agreement appropriate professional standards and applicable state/federal laws

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program

Current and unrestricted Physical Therapy license in the state where services are rendered

Current CPR certification

Strong organizational and communication skills

Accepting new grads
