ROLE: Family Paralegal
LOCATION: Lincoln
SALARY: Competitive dependent on experience
HOURS: 09:0017:15 Monday to Friday

What does a Family Paralegal look like at Sills & Betteridge
As a Family Paralegal at Sills & Betteridge youll play a vital role in supporting clients through some of the most important and sensitive moments of their lives. Youll work alongside experienced family lawyers in a supportive approachable team particularly on domestic violence cases.
Youll gain hands-on experience in a firm where your contribution is truly valued and where youre encouraged to develop your legal skills every day.

From drafting amending and proofreading legal documents to attending client meetings and external appointments your role will be dynamic and people-focused.
We are looking for someone who:

- Is educated to degree level or equivalent
- Ideally has experience liaising with domestic abuse victims and an understanding of the impact this has on them
- Possesses excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Has a clear understanding of the application of Family Law and the Legal Aid Agency (LAA)
- Demonstrates the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Has experience drafting statements and applications
