Job Summary

As a Marketing Assistant your main focus is creating and managing digital marketing for new and existing independent agents. This individual will be focused on growth via email marketing social media events webinars etc. This role will also provide general marketing support for agents/agencies.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop compelling advertising and marketing content including email campaign development social media advertising and posts etc.

  • Create edit and proof content for emails and social media marketing; maintain calendar of digital marketing efforts; deploy and track metrics of each campaign

  • Work to improve email/advertising campaigns to improve open/click-rates

  • Help develop grow and manage social media websites

  • Work with new and existing agents/agencies on contracts certifications marketing support etc.

  • Serves as a liaison between the agent and insurance carriers

  • Make outbound calls to existing and new agents

  • Recruit and develop new agencies and brokers

  • Assist in event planning attend trade shows carrier meetings industry events travel expected

Primary Skills and Requirements:

  • Associates degree or equivalent experience in marketing communications or advertising; Knowledge of Medicare insurance marketing is preferred but not required

  • 1 years of experience in digital marketing/social media/email is required

  • Strong written verbal and interpersonal communication skills; creation and editing skills are essential

  • Creative mindset and the ability to think outside the box; must have the ability to come up with new ideas to attract interest from our target audience and generate agent leads

  • Organized detail oriented and the ability to prioritize tasks

  • Interested in learning new topics and the ability to teach to others in an easy-to-understand way

  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues

  • Dependable hardworking and works well with others in a fast-paced environment

  • Must be a self-starter and have the ability to work independently

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word Excel etc.) social media platforms PowerPoint Outlook Email marketing platforms Canva Adobe Photoshop etc.
