PART-TIME JOB OPENING
Facility Custodian
Hours: Various shifts available Monday Sunday. Flexible availability; early morning days evenings and weekends working at Ackerman SFC.

JOB SUMMARY:
Under the direction and supervision of the Facility Manager and/or Custodial Operations Supervisor the PT Facility Custodian will be responsible for providing quality customer service through facility cleanliness room set-up and take-down and light maintenance as needed and able. Duties include but are not limited to cleaning and stocking restrooms/locker rooms general cleaning of program rooms and common areas disinfecting high touch points picking up and removal of trash and recycling cleaning and maintaining floor surfaces washing windows and other glass surfaces locking and securing the facility when assigned assisting with snow removal at entrances and other duties as assigned. This is an at-will position.
EDUCATION EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING:
- The ideal candidate will be self-motivated dependable and service-oriented with an eye for detail.
- Previous custodial or housekeeping experience is required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.
- Effective customer service and communication skills with the ability to speak and understand English.
- Mechanical aptitude and experience working with tools and equipment related to facility cleaning including hand and power tools is a plus.
- In good physical condition to be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time with manual dexterity and enough strength to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds on a regular basis.
- Must become CPR and First Aid certified which will be provided by the GEPD.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Will be required to pass a post offer criminal background check.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
