The Bumper Technician is a key team member that will be responsible for maintaining high quality and safety standards on the wheelchair-accessible vehicle conversions we produce.
What youll do:
- Remove bumpers lower interior trim seats and carpeting keeping all items organized for reinstallation.
- Cutting and reforming the rear bumper capping the cut edges
- It is a detailed oriented job as every part the employee touches is an outside (visual) painted OEM part.
- Post build inspections prior to Quality Control.
- Some work involves overhead work.
- Experience on recreational vehicle experience of involving auto builds repair cut and paint is highly preferred
- Attention to detail able to troubleshoot issues as needed
- Ability to use hand and power tools attention to quality with minimal errors.
- Must be organized and keep an orderly work area.
- This position is required to work OT occasionally.
- Will assist other departments as needed.
- This is a good fit for someone that has a passion for modifying cars enjoys working with low-voltage wiring and detail oriented.
- Will keep within OSHA safety regulations as well as follow compliance with quality standards as well as policy and procedures.
