Position Summary
Reports to the Nurse Manager and works under the supervision and/or direction of a Charge Nurse or Manager. Performs various duties assisting Staff Nurses in the treatment and care of patients in accordance with the established methods and procedures of the hospital. May only perform duties in the scope of practice for a certified nursing assistant by the Arizona Board of Nursing.
Qualifications and requirements
Basic Life Support certification is required within 90 days of hire.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Must have an active Arizona CNA or LNA License.
Experience: Minimum of 1-year CNA experience preferred.
Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
