Job Description
- Candidates drivers license address must be outside 50 miles from the facility
- Previous permanent employees must have been gone for at least 2 years
- Previous travelers who worked a full year must be gone for at least 2 years
- Travel teams must be submitted together in one email
- Only 2 candidates may be submitted per job opening
- Applications can be submitted up to 45 days in advance
Radiation Oncology General Certification Requirements:
- BLS Certification required
- ARRT registered Radiation Therapist
- WV State License required
Job Responsibilities and Requirements:
- No floating or coverage of other areas required
- Required skills/experience: IMRT IGRT SRS SBRT and Varian Equipment
- Treat approximately 25 patients per linear accelerator daily
- Use of department-specific equipment: Varian Trilogy Varian Truebeam Siemens Somation go. flo open
- Supervision provided by Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech
- No RRA usage
- Radiation Oncologists on-site (not radiologists 24/7)
- IV starts not required
Work Schedule & Conditions:
- Shifts: 5x8 hours or possibly 4x10 hours
- No weekend holiday call or standby requirements
- Scrub color: Gray
- Department-specific orientation provided
