Job Description
Job Title: SR. DEVOPS ENGINEER
Location: Reston VA
Duration: 12 Months
Visa: USC GC H1B and EAD
Contract Type: W2
Job Description:
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with GitLab Terraform and Python scripting and will assist in the teams ongoing migration from legacy CI/CD tools to modern infrastructure automation solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the migration of CI/CD pipelines to GitLab and Terraform.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python.
- Utilize Maven within GitLab for build and deployment tasks.
- Support production release processes (no involvement in application testing or production support).
- Collaborate closely with other DevOps engineers and application teams.
- 5 6 years of relevant DevOps engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- GitLab
- Terraform
- Python scripting (Shell scripting is not a substitute)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline development and build automation tools such as Maven.
- Prior experience supporting large-scale DevOps environments.
- Experience in production release processes.
