Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Drupal Architect with expertise in Drupal 9/10 and exposure to AI technologies. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in web development and deep technical knowledge of Drupal architecture site building module development and front-end theming.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a Drupal Subject Matter Expert (SME) for architecture design and development of scalable secure and high-performing Drupal websites.
- Design and implement complex Drupal 9/10 solutions including custom modules themes and integrations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (designers content teams backend developers) to deliver seamless and accessible user experiences.
- Evaluate and recommend Drupal contributed modules for project-specific needs.
- Drive performance tuning caching strategies and security best practices within Drupal environments.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to development teams on Drupal best practices and coding standards.
- Integrate Drupal solutions with AI components or frameworks contributing to innovative and intelligent features.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Drupal architecture and development.
- Strong knowledge of Drupal 9/10 including site building theming and custom module development.
- Solid understanding of PHP MySQL JavaScript HTML CSS Git and Solr.
- Experience with front-end tools including Twig Sass and responsive design techniques.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards and implementing them within Drupal themes.
- Exposure to AI technologies (any AI tools frameworks or integrations).
- Experience with CI/CD workflows and version control (Git).
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Nice to Have:
- Experience integrating AI/ML features into Drupal applications.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms and headless Drupal architecture.
- Government or large enterprise project experience.
