Job Description
Our client is looking for a Textile Designer with experience in rugs. This person will need to have experience with hand tufted and loom-woven rug constructions. They will oversee the trend color design research and product development for the handmade rug category. This person will...
- Work with the design teams to create and develop a unique and individual handmade rug line and work with customers on custom projects.
- Meet with sales and customers to review custom projects and new development. Provide design and other meeting materials as require.
- Keep up to date on home dcor/rugs color design and sales trends
- Communicate with overseas manufacturers for the design and product development of new products and product categories
- Work proactively according to development calendar to stay on timelines and work through product approvals
