Overview
We are seeking a motivated and friendly Switchboard / Cashier to join our this role you will be the first point of contact for our customers providing exceptional service and support. Your primary responsibilities will include processing transactions and assisting customers with you have a passion for retail and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly
- Process transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Handle cash credit and debit transactions with precision.
- Provide information about products and services to enhance customer experience.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer calls effectively.
- Ability to address customer needs.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
- Experience with POS systems for efficient transaction processing.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction calculations.
