Role Responsibilities
- Provide first-line technical support across various platforms and systems.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues efficiently.
- Assist clients with troubleshooting network connectivity problems.
- Document and maintain records of all support interactions and resolutions.
- Coordinate with other IT team members to escalate unresolved issues.
- Monitor system performance to ensure optimal operation.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks and updates on client systems.
- Implement IT policies and procedures to ensure data security.
- Assist in software installations and upgrades for clients.
- Provide training and guidance to clients on system usage.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss ongoing support issues.
- Help maintain an updated knowledge base for future reference.
- Stay informed about the latest technology trends and updates.
- Respond promptly to client inquiries and provide high-quality customer service.
- Follow up with clients to ensure issues are resolved to their satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Proven experience in a technical support or help desk role.
- Strong understanding of IT and computer systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols.
- Experience with ticketing systems and documentation practices.
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Strong customer service orientation and empathy.
- Experience working in a team-oriented environment.
- Relevant certifications (e.g. CompTIA A ITIL) are a plus.
- Willingness to work on-site at our location in India.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
