Receive and inspect all incoming materials and reconcile with purchase orders.
Ensure that all items are stored properly labeled and kept in clean and organized conditions.
Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stock counts (daily weekly and monthly).
Issue materials and supplies to departments based on authorized requisitions.
Monitor stock levels and communicate with the Purchasing Department for reordering.
Ensure compliance with health and safety hygiene and security regulations.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in all storage areas (dry refrigerated and frozen).
Coordinate with Finance/Accounts for invoices goods received notes (GRNs) and other documentation.
Tag and log all non-food and operating equipment items properly.
Avoid overstocking or understocking through effective stock control practices.
Report any discrepancies or damages in received goods to the appropriate department.
Support periodic audits conducted by internal or external auditors.
Follow hotel standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure adherence to brand standards.
Qualifications :
Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience as a storekeeper warehouse clerk or inventory assistant preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
Basic knowledge of inventory software systems (e.g. FMC Materials Control or similar).
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Good communication and coordination abilities.
Ability to lift and move heavy stock when needed.
Basic understanding of food safety and storage guidelines (HACCP is a plus).
High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in logistics or supply chain is an advantage.
Able to work flexible hours including weekends or holidays if required.
