Job Description
The driver is responsible for transporting merchandising between Techo-Blocs manufacturing sites and the product warehouse locations serving consumers and distributors. The warehouses are located in the province of Quebec in Ontario and in the United States.
Driver Responsibilities:
- Ensure the delivery of palletized concrete pavers to various sites from different plants in Canada and the United States;
- Secure the pallets properly on the truck platform;
- Ensure all documentation is accurately completed;
- Always maintain safety standards both in terms of loading and driving;
- Work in coordination with the dispatcher to maximize load efficiency and ensure secure load fastening;
- Properly use the electronic tools provided to you.
Qualifications :
- Valid Class 1 drivers license;
- Minimum of 3 years of experience or CFTR certification;
- Excellent driving record with no more than 5 demerit points;
- Valid passport;
- Functional English ability to read and interpret documents and instructions and to hold a functional conversation with a customs officer if needed.
