This will be a regional position between Grosse Pointe and Royal Oak locations
Scope of work
Administers hyperbaric oxygen therapy under the direction of the Hyperbaric Technical Director physician and technologists. Performs duties under the physiologic stresses of the hyperbaric environment. The technician monitors patients before during and after hyperbaric therapy and is responsible for the safe operation of the hyperbaric chamber. Assists in the delivery of patient care.
Qualifications
Required High School Diploma or equivalent
Required Must be a registered Paramedic EMT Respiratory Therapist Military Corpsman or other allied health professional as indicated by the NBDHMT.
Preferred Board Certification in Hyperbaric Medicine
0-3 years experience. Required
LIC-Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) - STATEMI State of Michigan Upon Hire required Or
LIC-Paramedic License - STATEMI State of Michigan Upon Hire required Or
LIC-Respiratory Therapist - STATEMI State of Michigan Upon Hire required Or
CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required Or
CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross Upon Hire required Or
CRT-Hyperbaric Technologist Certified (CHT) - NBDHMT National Board of Diving and Hyperbaric Medical Technology Upon Hire preferred
