Were looking for an independent resourceful and proactive Administrative Program Specialist A to serve as a vital support and problem-solver for the Division Director and the entire division staff providing administrative support and executing multiple complex and tedious tasks while fostering a welcoming positive and collaborative team culture.

Job Duties:
As an Administrative Program Specialist A youll report directly to the Divisions Chief of Staff providing essential administrative and programmatic division-wide support to ensure the smooth implementation of academic initiatives within the Division of Academic this role you will:
Manage the Division Directors calendar and travel relieving the Director of administrative duties
Conduct initial reviews of contracts contract amendments and payment invoices and ensure that all required documents are submitted and completed as required
Prepare submit and track procurement requisitions for the purchase of services and deliverables per LDOE and Office of State Procurement processes
Support the division with routine office tasks like payroll inventory mail distribution meeting logistics and general administrative support
Appointment Type: Job Appointment. This position will be filled as a temporary job appointment that may last up to 4 years.The person hired for this position is expected to regularly report to the Baton Rouge office.
Career Progression: This position does not participate in a Career Progression Group.
Work Schedule:Work hours are Monday - Friday. Work hours will be determined.
Compensation:The salary offered will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
