Job Description
Cordia Resources by Cherry Bekaert is partnered with a large respected professional services firm based in Virginia Beach that is searching for anAccounts Payable Specialist with a background in purchase orders and 3-way matching to join their team on a 6-month contract-to-hire basis.
Title: AP Specialist
Location: On-Site Virginia Beach VA
Hourly Rate: Up to $28.00/hour
Job Type: Contract-to-Hire
Requirements: Purchase Orders 3-Way Matching
Candidate will be responsible for:
- Full cycle accounts payable processing (matching batching coding check run)
- High volume AP 200 invoices
- Working with purchase orders
- Receiving approvals from managers and budgets
- Processing invoices
- Working with vendors to correct issues
Candidate should have the following background:
- 3 years of experience processing Accounts Payable ideally with a $250 million revenue company
- Experience processing a high volume of 200 invoices
- ERP system experience (SAP Oracle Dynamics Netsuite etc.)
- Strong Excel experience (data entry formulas etc.)
- Ability to take direction from leadership and apply strategy to completing tasks
- Can do attitude
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to start work within the next 2 weeks
