The Opportunity
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager Engineering Construction & Maintenance Category we are seeking a detail-oriented and systems-savvy Category Analyst to support the Engineering category across North American business units. This role is ideal for someone with strong SAP Ariba and SAP Enterprise skills who can ensure accurate and timely contract administration supplier management and procurement system support.
This position is critical to maintaining operational continuity and data integrity across our contract lifecycle processes.
What youll do
Maintain and update supplier and contract records in SAP Ariba and SAP Enterprise
Support contract lifecycle activities including amendments change orders and approval documentation
Assist with supplier onboarding qualification and compliance tracking
Collaborate with the Category Lead and internal stakeholders to ensure contract governance and policy adherence
Monitor contract expirations and support timely renewals or closeouts
Generate reports and dashboards to track contract status compliance and other key metrics
Provide administrative support for sourcing events (e.g. RFx creation bid tabulation award documentation)
Minimum qualifications
University degree
3-5 years of experience in contract administration procurement operations or supply chain support
Demonstrated proficiency in SAP Ariba and SAP Enterprise
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and urgency
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Familiarity with contract governance and document control practices
Preferred qualifications
Experience supporting engineering or technical services categories
Understanding of supplier performance tracking and compliance reporting
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Experience with energy project engineering and construction contracts is a plus
