Summary
The App Development Analyst I is responsible for application analysis design development integration enhancement maintenance and technical/software support.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Works directly with business customers and technical team on assigned requests.
- Performs functional tests/demonstrates understanding of how functionality supports business processes.
- Writes clean efficient and well-documented code for assigned features which may include Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) configurations.
- Collborates with technical team to improve products functionality.
- Participates in code reviews quality assurance activities and practice fundamental Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) processes.
- Stays up to date with application releases adjacent relevant technology and industry best practices.
- Contributes to knowledge sharing and documentation.
- Applies application patches and/or collaborates with other teams to ensure application stack is patched against known vulnerabilities.
You Must Have
- Bachelors degree certification or 2 years of experience in lieu of a Bachelors or certification
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
- Ability to work remote hybrid or on-site as directed by management and is determined by the needs of the business
- Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this job
- United States Citizenship
- Ability to obtain and maintain if required for position a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance (some positions require additional DOE designations)
