Job Description
The Laboratory Support Services Manager is responsible for the overall daily management operations scheduling financials team member performance outcomes and leadership of Laboratory Support Services. Laboratory Support Services include laboratory information systems (LIS) outreach services phlebotomy supply distribution registration and customer service. The LSS Manager ensures compliance with all regulatory guidelines promotes exceptional customer service and fosters a customer centric professional environment that contributes to a positive and productive work environment.
The position requires travel to outreach locations and reports to the Directory of Laboratory Services.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum three years of clinical experience.
- Experience must demonstrate progressive leadership responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in healthcare discipline or related work experience in a leadership role
- Laboratory lab computer system experience or similar healthcare field experience preferred.
Skill Requirements:
- Reasoning ability and good independent judgement.
- Strong interpersonal computer and communication skills.
Work Conditions:
- Willingness to work different shifts weekends and/or holidays.
- Ability to work under stress and contribute to the team environment.
