Salary Starting : 19$/hour
Night Shift 7:00pm to 7:00am 2 week cycle (36/48 hours)
Position will train on days for 4-5 weeks 7a-330p Mon-Fri then move to continental nights
Responsibilities
When your actions lead to success:
- Sew silicone edging onto fabric;
- Produce finished graphics;
- Activate sewing machine to join gather hem reinforce or finish vinyl fabric banners and silicone edged graphics;
- Examine and measure finished articles to verify conformance to standards;
- Cut materials according to specifications or cut excess material or thread from finished product using blade scissors or electric knife;
- Fold or fit together materials such as fabric or vinyl to prepare for machine sewing;
- Mount attachments such as needles cutting blades or pattern plates and adjust machine guides according to specifications;
- Monitor machine operation to detect problems such as defective stitching breaks in thread or machine malfunction;
- Troubleshoot problems as they arise.
Qualifications

- Sewing experience on various industrial sewing machines;
- Ability to follow established patterns and specifications;
- Lifting and handling elements that can weigh up to 30 pounds each;
- Ability to stand for long periods of time;
- Willingness to learn and be flexible;
- Strong communication skills;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
- Proven attention to detail;
- Self-starter with willingness to do whatever is necessary to support the team.
