Multiple Positions Available:

and coordinate design and innovation efforts to develop optimal solutions for the last mile delivery station through equipment specification material flow process design site layout and intellectual property considerations.
closely with a partner team in Engineering Tech and Operations to build impactful products
with internal teams and external vendors to generate high-quality cost-effective solutions in very short periods of time.
manage multiple projects and tasks while effectively influencing negotiating and communicating with internal and external business partners contractors and vendors.
technical leadership for large-scale engineering projects
written and verbal communication skills ability to execute the vision detailed roadmap and specific technical solutions to make a compelling business case with senior executives.
partner teams accountable for delivery of project roadmap. Own a part of the vision of the next generation DS roadmap including execution. Meet defined milestones and delivery dates.
a culture of innovation across the AMZL Strategic Planning and Process Engineering Org.
travel up to 20 % and international travel up to 5% to perform role responsibilities may be required.


Masters degree or foreign equivalent in Industrial Design Engineering or related discipline and 2 years of experience in job offered or related engineering occupation. Alternatively employer will accept a Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Industrial Design Industrial Design Engineering or related discipline followed by 5 progressively responsible years of experience in job offered or related engineering occupation.

Experience with each of the following required:

1.2 years of experience working with the designs of complex automated material handling equipment and systems including robotics and high-speed manufacturing.
2.2 years of experience using AutoCAD 2D and Solidworks 3D or similar to build concepts for manufacturing processes.
3.2 years of experience using Microsoft Excel including pivot tables macros index/match vlookup VBA and data links.
4.2 years of experience in Capital project management - must involve ownership/management of engineering design project.

The pay range for this position in Bellevue WA is $136427 - $155400 (yr); however base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits dependent on the position offered.
