OFFERING OVERVIEW: Pricing Promotion and Revenue Management
PwCs Pricing Promotion and Revenue M team provides strategic guidance and builds technology solutions aimed at transformation and improvement of Net Revenue Management (NRM) functions of leading Consumer Goods companies. The range of projects and services encompass but are not limited to:
Design and implementation of Trade Promotion Management (TPM) solution including assessing current processes and systems determining key requirements designing the future state processes managing development cycle of the system and facilitating change management for the client.
Support clients in developing and implementing strategic pricing and revenue growth frameworks to optimize profitability customer segmentation and market positioning.
Enable end-to-end pricing and promotion transformation through the deployment of TPM/RGM tools (e.g. Salesforce TPM SAP RGM) advanced analytics and integrated reporting solutions.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS Experienced Associate
Knowledge Preferred:
Candidates should demonstrate substantial experience and/or knowledge in any sector in the following areas:
Trade Promotions Management: Master Data Funds Management Volume Planning Promotion Planning Trade Promotion Optimization Accruals Payments Post Event Analytics Reporting
Pricing & Profitability: Pricing/revenue model strategy Price setting and value-based pricing Transaction price management Customer portfolio profitability and optimization
Data & Analytics: Data strategy Data-analytics transformation Data analysis
Consulting Experience - Knowledge of working in consulting teams in trade promotion and delivering long-term engagements especially system implementations from design to testing and deployment in the consumer markets space
Skills Preferred:
Candidates should be able to demonstrate extensive customer transformation consulting abilities within a project team that includes the following:
Position requires 2-5 years experience in RGM Consulting
Ability to collect interpret and analyze data including financial metrics and pricing trends to identify patterns and make informed pricing decisions.
Understanding of financial concepts such as profit margins cost structures and revenue models to evaluate pricing strategies and their impact on the company revenues
Researching and analyzing pertinent client industry and technical matters including leveraging the ability to problem-solve prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously for self and others.
Strong communication skills (written and oral) Including client communication
Skilled with Word Excel PowerPoint. Knowledge of any TPM pricing tool (SAP TPM Salesforce Consumer Goods Cloud) will be a bonus
Hands-on expertise in BI and analytics tools such as Tableau Power BI and Alteryx. Knowledge of R / Python / SQL is a plus
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams such as sales marketing and finance to gather input align pricing strategies with business objectives and drive consensus in decision-making processes.
Leveraging customer centric solutions knowledge and skills especially as it relates to project management project facilitation and the development of client deliverables
MBA is preferred but not ; in lieu of an MBA equivalent experience in conjunction with an undergraduate degree in engineering arts and economics sciences or business from a Tier 1 college will be preferred
Educational Background:
MBA in Sales / Marketing / Strategy/ Analytics from a premier B-School
Additional Information
Travel Requirements: Travel to client locations may be as per project requirements.
Experience: 2-5 years of prior relevant work experience in a Pricing / Sales/ Analytics Strategy role. Experience in management consulting and exposure to multinational environment will be a bonus.
