II. SUMMARY OF ASSIGNMENT
Under direct supervision of the Administrative Secretary for Human Resources provides receptionist duties for the Student Services Center and clerical services for the Human Resources Department.
III. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
as receptionist and District information source for the Student Services Center; greets and directs visitors to District offices and meeting rooms; answers in-coming telephone calls and routes to the appropriate office or provides information to the caller.
and places courier mail in boxes for other district offices.
and affixes postage to outgoing US mail for delivery to the post office. Confirms available balance for postage processing.
and distribute incoming mail and place in corresponding mailbox. Notifies SSC departments of parcel delivery.
sorts and delivers courier and US mail for employees in Human Resources.
meeting rooms for the SSC and posts meeting information on system for foyer monitor.
data entry and produces correspondence documents and spreadsheets using a personal computer.
with large mailings or other projects.
with assembling for events as needed.
office supplies for Human Resources; orders and stocks items as appropriate.
services calls for District postage machine. Ensures postage credit is up to date.
a neat and attractive lobby and mailroom.
other duties as assigned.

IV. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
A. Education and Experience
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Two (2) years of successful continuous receptionist and/or clerical work experience.
B. Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities
1. Knowledge of and ability to display consistently correct telephone etiquette and a pleasant speaking voice as well as perform duties in a courteous friendly and effective manner in a diverse environment with frequent interruptions.
2. Knowledge of and ability to use correct grammar spelling punctuation and English usage.
to operate a multi-line telephone set personal computer and standard office equipment.
to work in a multi-cultural and ethnically diverse school surrounding with the ability to communicate effectively with all cultural groups in the community and school environment.
to work independently exercise sound judgment and maintain confidential information.
to be consistently punctual and maintain regular attendance.
to learn district structure and operations and be able to communicate accurate information to the public effectively.

VI. WORKING CONDITIONS
Work is performed in a regular office environment. Must be able to use fingers hands and arms and to listen carefully and focus while filtering out normal office noise. Ability to see hear speak walk sit stand crouch and reach. Moderate lifting and carrying up to 20 pounds. Reaching overhead and horizontally. Ability to use hands and fingers for keyboarding multi-line phone system and mail machine; ability to sit for prolonged periods of time. Exposed to frequent work place interruptions on the telephone and in person.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
Employment with Clover Park School District is conditional pending completion of a Washington State Patrol and Federal Bureau of Investigation fingerprint background check as required by RCW28A.400.303. (NOTE: All associated background check fees are the employees responsibility.) The fingerprint scan must be completed prior to the first day of employment.
