Job Description

Modem Test EngineerLocation : MTV CA (Onsite) Job Description:Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Science Telecommunications or related field.8 years of hands-on testing experience in 5G/4G/3G Cellular modem chipset or device (UE) Protocol conformance performance and understanding of 3GPP and Carrier specifications for LTE and test plans targeting 5G NR and LTE L2/L3 protocol features (RLC PDCP MAC RRC NAS).Expertise in 3GPP/IMS Protocol call flows to analyze logs and troubleshoot issues in UE/network protocol to isolate complex issues across multiple protocol layers and identify root causes using trace analysis with cross-functional teams to lead and drive testing -on experience with test equipment for GCF PTCRB Carrier certification (e.g. Keysight Rohde & Schwarz).Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTN) testing experience is highly desirable.
