Job Description

Teledyne Microwave Solutions (TMS) has over 50 years of experience in the design development and manufacture of sophisticated microwave/RF components and integrated assemblies for the most demanding challenges.

Our products and capabilities are sought after by civilian and military organizations spanning numerous global markets including Aviation Communication Electronic Warfare (EW/ECM/CIED) Industrial Missile/UAV Radar Satcom Space and Test and Measurement. Teledyne Wireless invests heavily in research and development to maintain the ability to offer the worlds most advanced MW/RF capabilities for current and emerging challenges.

The Assembly Supervisor is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of a team of assemblers working in a controlled cleanroom environment. This role ensures that production goals are met while maintaining the highest standards of quality safety and cleanliness. The supervisor will coordinate workflow provide training enforce cleanroom protocols and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of cleanroom assemblers to meet production schedules and quality standards.
  • Monitor employee performance provide coaching and feedback and conduct performance evaluations.
  • Ensure compliance with cleanroom protocols safety regulations and company policies.
  • Collaborate with engineering quality and planning teams to resolve production issues and implement process improvements.
  • Maintain accurate production records including labor tracking material usage and quality documentation.
  • Train new employees on cleanroom procedures assembly techniques and safety practices.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to Foreign Object Debris (FOD) control and contamination prevention standards.
  • Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for non-conformances.
  • Promote a culture of accountability teamwork and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelors degree preferred.
  • 10 years of experience in a cleanroom manufacturing environment with at least 5 year in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Strong understanding of cleanroom protocols FOD control and contamination prevention.
  • Experience with mechanical assembly small parts handling and use of microscopes and precision tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints work instructions and technical drawings.
  • Excellent communication organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and manufacturing software systems (e.g. ERP MES).
  • U.S. Person status required for access to ITAR-controlled data.

Salary Range:

$77000.00-$102600.000

The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including but not limited to location education/training work experience key skills and type of position.
